About BMS College of Engineering
B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE), located in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, Karnataka, was established in 1946 by the late Sri B. M. Sreenivasaiah. It holds the distinction of being the first private engineering college in India.
Affiliation & Accreditation: BMSCE is an autonomous institution affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), approved by the AICTE, and accredited by NAAC with the highest grade of 'A++'. It is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under the Tier-I format.
Academics & Research: The college offers various undergraduate (B.E.), postgraduate (M.Tech, MBA, MCA), and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs across diverse engineering and management disciplines. Many of its departments are recognized research centers under VTU.
