IIM Sirmaur

IIM Sirmaur is a centrally funded Institution of National Importance established in 2015, nestled in the serene Himalayan foothills of Himachal Pradesh. The institute has recently transitioned to its state-of-the-art permanent campus at Dhaula Kuan, spanning 210 acres with modern infrastructure designed for 600 students.

IIM Sirmaur distinguishes itself through its unique focus on sustainable management education and its specialized MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management—one of the few such programs offered by any IIM in India.

The institute demonstrates remarkable growth in corporate engagement, with recruiter participation surging from just 60 firms in 2020 to 202 in 2025—a more than threefold increase. During the 10th annual convocation held in April 2026, over 340 students graduated across MBA, executive MBA, and PhD programs.

Despite a challenging economic environment, more than 220 companies participated in final placements, extending over 250 offers with an average CTC of ₹15.9 lakh per annum and a highest package of ₹30 lakh. Key recruiters included MG Motor, Dabur, EY, Tech Mahindra, Taj Hotels, and Amul.
