IIT Bhubaneswar

Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar) is an Institute of National Importance established by the Government of India in 2008. The institute operates from a 936-acre permanent campus at Argul, near Bhubaneswar, and offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral education across engineering, sciences, humanities and interdisciplinary areas. IIT Bhubaneswar follows a School-based academic structure designed to encourage interdisciplinary education and research. Its academic ecosystem combines classroom learning, advanced laboratories, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and industry engagement. With modern infrastructure, residential facilities and expanding national and international collaborations, IIT Bhubaneswar has developed into an important centre for technology education and research in eastern India.
