IIT Palakkad

Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad (IIT Palakkad) is an Institute of National Importance established in 2015 in Kerala. The institute operates from its permanent campus at Kanjikode, spread across approximately 500 acres near the Western Ghats. IIT Palakkad offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes with academic activities spanning engineering, sciences, data science and interdisciplinary research. Its B.Tech offerings include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Data Science and Engineering. The institute emphasizes interdisciplinary education, research, innovation and entrepreneurship while developing a sustainable residential campus with modern academic laboratories, hostels, sports facilities and research infrastructure.
